I have a teak dining room setting and I want to stain it to a dark walnut colour, bali style ?
Is this possible and what is the best process? Any answers would be of great help. Thanks
Thanks for your great response!!
if you are going darker then it is less of a problem to re-stain.
You can give the surface a light sanding down using 120 grade finishing sand paper, buy a product called ‘ESP’ stands for easy surface preparation and follow the instructions. then I would go for a stain of your colour choice from Dulux make sure it is spirit based not water based, two coats job done.hope this helps.
