How can I make imitation flowers and withered look dead for a Halloween prop?
I create a wedding scene in Ghoul arbor of my house for a Halloween party, and can not find the dead flowers lie! HELP!
Here are a couple of things you can do: Make a wash watercolor fine brown, black and blue or maybe purple (all in separate containers). Use these flowers in order to simulate the decay. Sometimes a color will do – what it really depends on the color of the flower. Brown will be the most used, with darker colors as accents. If you have some acrylic paints, this function so well, but go easy. You want a layer above does not cover the material above. If the flowers have wires, you can bend them into positions wilted. The other trick is to make appeal to them. BE VERY CAREFUL! This plastic is easy to exaggerate, and melted it can actually burn. An alternative method would be to immerse in boiling water. This will cause the plastic to be soft and flexible. You have to make some experiments, but these are some easy ways to achieve the effect that goes. Good luck and have fun! Send me some pics!
