Smoosh patio cushions Help!?
I have patio chairs that are used heavily …. there anyway to bring life back into them? The look is gone Nice poofy and with summer just around the cushions we want to be comfortable again. I have to find a cheap way to give a facelift! Please serious answers only … too many people on this forum are trolls and how to leave your ass and nine commentaries for some unknown reason.
It depends on whether they are made of feathers or foam – or a combination of the two. If they are foam, go to a store selling curtain fabrics – which normally sell foam cushions, and get a replacement cushions. They come in different densities (springyness) so do not be intimidated by what they seem – Try them. It is very common to combine types – putting a 1 soft "on top of a 2" foam heavyweight. If you are feather pillows – first attempt at washing. They need a long drying period – but are fine to machine wash and dry in hot dryer. If this does not work — buy another feather pillow, and use feathers to top-up their sagging cushions. Sometimes you have to do this with age. Try to wear a tie, died throws over the furniture which makes intensive use. In this way – you can only wash releases more often, and to stop the suffering of the furniture from spills and wear. They are excellent for clarifying things.
