1) Wooden Garden Patio Furniture
Wooden furniture outdoors has been widely used for years, whether for dining room sets or in general for garden furniture, as benches, loungers and planters.
The wood used is mainly wood, though tanalised Pine is popular in the designs of Switzerland.
The best and, of course, more expensive teak, which comes mainly from Indonesia.
Teak is graded, Grade A is the highest quality.
Most people agree that teak can be left untreated mild to beautiful silver gray over the years.
Most other grades of teak is supplied pre-oiled, the furniture will last just as if you deal with regularly. The reason for the lower grade is that wood will defects and anomalies in the grain, in addition to the lower grade teak sometimes can not be dried in an oven.
Other woods are used for garden furniture are Keruing, Acacia, rosewood and Juniper.
Keruing is a good solid wood that will last up to 25 years. Ideal for dining outdoors and bars, a trend now is to have a frame in a chair Keruing Textilene and lower back for comfort.
You can also find steamers, loungers, tables and benches Keruing all in all it is very resistant to wear heavy ideal wood for outdoor furniture set.
Acacia is becoming popular as more value for money.
The MIR has developed a significant range in Acacia. The only thing to note is that this is Acacia plantations, as there has been a problem with lower quality wood that has not dried correctly.
Apart from that you can buy an acacia dining set, 4 chairs and a table for under £ 100, which is a bargain.
Rosewood is great, but only if you have deep pockets like dining sets can configure a copy of £ 2 / 3000 at a time.
Juniper is used primarily for wood pole parasols, but still a good solid wood and out of the last few years with proper maintenance. In the next article I will refer to metal furniture garden and how it developed in a variety of styles.
