Baby seemed to be choking?

Last night husband and I went to dinner, and our son was 13 weeks old in the kitchen with us in his rocking chair. He looked at his face was beet red and he was waving his hands in the air. We picked him out and upside down and patted on the back and then he began to pant. Then he began to mourn, who made me feel much better, because I knew that time was breathing. It happened in a split second and I have idea of what was then his other saliva / drool. He had no toys, then the others hung on the chair, which can not even reach the mouth. There was nothing that could have put there, and was happily playing minutes before. Now I'm scared senseless. We have one baby monitors that controls breathing little man, but still I did not sleep very well last night. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for us to feel a little more peaceful?

You and your husband did the right thing. As mentioned, could have choked on his saliva, but keep an eye on if this happens too often and if so go to your pediatrician. It might be scary and just try to reassure them of its rapid action stopped suffocation. Many prayers go to you all and enjoy every moment with your baby, are a real blessing and sounds to me this baby is a blessing to have both their parents.
