Best island to visit/possibly purchase home?
I love St John and St Thomas, but they are very pricey. Anyone ever rented a condo and have a good experience with a particular complex?
I can’t stand the Grand Bahama Island… I can’t handle paying 10.00 for a crappy sandwich, and yucky grocery markets.
Basically I want some opinions on where I can go that has a lot of the conveniences of home (Nice grocery stores, good restaurants, cleanliness?) It needs to be livable, somewhere I could go for several months and not miss home! With beautiful/clean beaches and warm water.
I have never been to Hawaii or Maui, any opinions on them?
Also it’d be nice if I didn’t have to worry TOO much about a hurricane destroying the place every year. =D

I would say Puerto Vallarta….I have a girlfriend that lives there, she loves it!!
