What is the market like for wood patio furniture?
I'm starting a business in Virginia doing the patio furniture from wood. I have a number Design and opinions on how they want to think this would be popular. These projects were made pre style that you put together, packaged as a complete DIY project with instructions, parts and frames for mounting this. It can also provide a product in any color you want. Will post pictures at a future date.
I agree with # 1, but not in a raw, no real offense. your target market might be tight at first, and this is usually not addressed KIT to those who want high-level, and instantly. No offense meant to them either. I know some very well off people who get their hands dirty. Wood is a great premise, and no doubt would appeal to the Crown, Beach crowd, which still might want casual, affordable and aesthetically more pleasing than the belt Poly, steel structures, folding chairs, but again, you should do market research as to who actually may not want to go to a discount chain, spend $ 8 and sitting on a beach or in the yard within 25 minutes of purchase. Sell me a decently built Adierondacks President, still unfinished, but mounted in ash poplar, birch, and you can charge me $ 100 more than they would pay for a center, Nylon Sling Chair,,, even with two cupholders. I suspect you have investigated some or all of the sceanrios, such as the cost of producing, PROFIT, shipping and handling, Venoors, quality control and repeat service calls should a screw or an allen wrench left out of the package, etc, etc. Oh Steven Wolf throw in a deploy / down, foot … LOL.
